Roots and Tides understands that unanticipated events can occur. I ask that you read and adhere to the following information when considering Roots and Tides for your wellness needs.

Appointments

Credit Card information must be entered in order to reserve an appointment time. You will not be charged until you receive your treatment, and you can choose to use your reserved method of payment or cash, Vermont checks, or another credit card following your service. Gratuities are not included in the price of treatments, and are at the client’s discretion. 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid being charged a cancellation fee of $25. Appointments made the same date of service are considered confirmed when scheduled, and are subject to 100% fee for service if cancelled or if the client does not show up for the treatment. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please do so prior to the 24 hour window. Rescheduling your appointment within the 24 hour window, will also result in a fee of $25. Please note that if there are 3 last minute cancellations within one calendar year, I will no longer be able to book appointments for you.

No Shows

Clients who do not arrive for scheduled appointments will be charged in full to the credit card number.  

Same Day Changes

All scheduling changes must be received by 7pm the day before your appointment. We cannot guarantee accommodation of same-day requests, however Roots and Tides will do their best to accommodate length of massage times and add-ons when possible.  

Late Arrivals

We cannot guarantee the full appointment time to clients who arrive late. We will gladly provide what services we can in the time remaining. Clients who arrive late will be charged the full appointment price. We recommend all clients arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to review your health history form and your booking.  

Misconduct Policy

Roots and Tides has a zero tolerance policy as it regards sexual misconduct of any kind. The client understands that any illicit or sexually aggressive remarks, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and client will be charged for the full cost of the scheduled appointment. Clients will also be flagged in our system and asked not to return.
