Meet me at the Rez, the Waterbury Resevoir, on Monday nights throughout the summer for stand up paddle board yoga. Each class offers paddle techniques (if you’ve never been on a board) and yoga options (if you’ve never done yoga). Once we familiarize ourselves with the board, we head out on a short paddle to warm up, and then we anchor the boards for an amazing outdoor yoga practice. Balancing on the boards offer an additional core workout and the water offers a soft cushion if you fall off!
Logistics: Bring your own paddle board or rent one from Umiak Outdoor Outfitters. We’ll meet at the Umiak rental shop, accessed through the state park entrance on Route 100. Register at Grateful Yoga.
